Title: Reducing Metadata from GSM Network Usage

Abstract: In today's digital landscape, privacy, anonymity, and digital rights

have become increasingly significant. The GSM network, which facilitates

mobile connectivity, exhibits characteristics such as centralization and

policy management that uniquely determine the users. In undemocratic

settings, this identification can be used to violate human rights. We

propose a configuration designed to mitigate the collection of technical

data and metadata that are typically used to identify users uniquely.

By implementing this configuration, we aim at enhancing user privacy and

promoting online emancipation.
