From quantum channels to quantum batteries
Abstract:
In this presentation, I will provide an overview of my academic path in physics, from my Bachelor’s to my current Master’s studies at the University of Insubria. I will begin with my Bachelor’s thesis, in which I carried out a small original research project
exploring the transmission of classical information using non-orthogonal quantum states encoded in optical coherent states. I will then present my current Master’s thesis, which investigates the open-system dynamics of micromaser-based quantum batteries, with
a focus on dissipation and stabilization.
